i3's Mason Hamrick Runs to Smash Human Trafficking

Lexington, SC — i3 Global Enterprises’ Director of Financial Planning and Analysis Mason Hamrick recently logged a whopping 52 miles to raise funding and awareness for an urgent cause — the fight to eradicate human trafficking.
Mason, in partnership with men’s workout group F3 Midlands, was a participant in the week-long challenge Lighthouse for Life “From Sea to Shining Sea” run across America. In support of Mason and Lighthouse for Life, i3 Global signed on as a gold sponsor of the event.
Lighthouse for Life is a bible-based nonprofit headquartered in Columbia, South Carolina. The organization’s work encompasses two critical areas of focus: Educating its community about the harsh realities of modern-day slavery, and empowering survivors to live in freedom through restorative support.
Last year alone, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) investigated 285 human trafficking tips involving nearly 400 potential victims, according to Lighthouse for Life, as reported by WMBF News. The money raised through F3’s challenge — to log 5,540 miles as a group over 7 days — will directly support survivors of human trafficking in the South Carolina communities where i3 Global employees and F3 Midlands members live and work.
