i3 Global Enterprises Names Amy Hatfield Director of Communications

Lexington, S.C. — i3 Global Enterprises, a leading firm in family governance and private asset management, has named Amy Hatfield director of communications. This newly created role signals the firm’s commitment to developing purposeful and useful messaging targeting families in business.

Hatfield brings 25 years of experience in communications and content marketing across private, governmental and non-profit sectors, while specializing in three key industries: finance, real estate and outdoor recreation. At i3 Global, the South Carolina native will lead development of a strategic communications plan to position the firm as a thought leader in family governance and a reliable resource for family enterprises.

“Amy’s ability to tell our company’s story — who we are and what we do — in a way that’s accessible, relevant and helpful to families in business is the reason she’s joining our team,” said Kevin Heaton, i3’s founder and principal. “Her experience in building a digital footprint to reach unique and refined audience groups aligns with our mission and the season of growth and opportunity we find ourselves in today.”

Most recently, Hatfield worked at Lewis, a full-service marketing agency with offices in Nashville, Tennessee, Birmingham, Alabama, and Mobile, Alabama. During her six years with the agency, she contributed to nationally acclaimed campaigns and digital storytelling. To deliver customer engagement and measurable ROI for client companies, she developed brand messaging that balanced creative integrity and expression, while using audience research and established consumer behavior patterns to guide the work.

Prior to Lewis, Hatfield served as digital editor at Grand View Outdoors, a publishing company based in Three Lakes, Wisconsin, where she crafted digital strategy for the company’s flagship print magazines and created sponsored content for brands including Savage Arms, Federal Ammunitions, 3M (Peltor) and SITKA. Earlier in her career, she spent more than a decade working on behalf of nonprofit advocacy groups as a content strategist and public relations manager. In these roles, she helped champion public-land and wildlife conservation policy, the outdoor lifestyle and U.S. hunting and fishing commerce.

“While high-wealth family enterprises and their sustained success are at the heart of what i3 Global Enterprises does, our client families share a unique through line,” Hatfield said. “They’re each built on blue-collar ingenuity with origin stories often rooted in stubborn resilience. These families endure. It’s a style that’s in lockstep with i3 and its own unique approach to family governance. I couldn’t be more excited to help tell this story.”

Hatfield is a South Carolina native, where she currently resides with her husband, Mark, and their son, Luke.
