Kevin Heaton, Founder i3, LLC

Kevin Heaton is the founder and principal of i3, LLC, a Family CFO consulting and Private Asset Management firm, and has grown the organization into a team of highly-regarded associates providing clients with access to information, infrastructure, and investment opportunities. Mr. Heaton is a highly engaging speaker and presenter, and has contributed to MSN Money, US News and World Report and other outlets related to asset management and Family CFO leadership.

Mr. Heaton’s experience is grounded in wealth management and business valuation. As the Family CFO, he works diverse groups of families, investment groups and corporations seeking to understand the value of their company or assets for use in an acquisition, divestiture, wealth transfer or litigation.

Combined with an understanding of business valuation, Kevin’s extensive experience in the capital markets offers clients access to a network of investors with capital resources and investment strategies.

Kevin’s other areas of expertise include closely held private company business valuations, investor due diligence, litigation support, sell-side representation, buy-side representation, and investor identification.

Prior to founding i3, LLC, Mr. Heaton was CFO of a home services investment company, and grew revenues from $2 million dollars to $30 million dollars in only two years.

Kevin was also responsible for developing the US presence of Bucephale Asset Management, a Swiss-based, $250 million-dollar hedge fund.

Mr. Heaton began his career as an investment advisor at Merrill Lynch.

David Lisko, Attorney
Holland & Knight

David J. Lisko is an attorney in Holland & Knight’s Tampa, Florida Office and a member of the firm’s Business Litigation and Sports & Entertainment Sections. Mr. Lisko is also a Certified NFL Agent and business and crisis management consultant.

Mr. Lisko advises clients on contract negotiations, strategic business planning, litigation in state and federal courts, white collar criminal defense, alternative dispute resolution, investigations, and compliance policies and procedures.

Mr. Lisko’s clients consist of athletes, Fortune 500 companies, entrepreneurs and startup companies, teams, and non-profits charitable organizations.

In addition to being the President of the Sports Business and Leadership Association, Mr. Lisko is on the Board of Directors of Jacob Burke’s Just A Kid Foundation, a Member of the Sports Lawyers Association, and a Member of the National Football League Players Association.

Mr. Lisko was named a Tampa Bay Business Journal Up and Comer in 2014, a Barrister’s Best Sports and Entertainment Lawyer for Law Week Colorado in 2016, and a Florida Super Lawyer’s Rising Star in 2017.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Lisko received an bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and attended law school at The Ohio State Moritz College of Law.

Mr. Lisko played wide receiver on The Ohio State University football team (2004-2008) and was an “Academic All-Big Ten Team Selection” and a three-time “Big Ten Conference Champion.” Mr. Lisko also played lacrosse at The Ohio State University his freshman year and was a “Great Western Lacrosse League Champion.”
